Elizabeth Heintz – As founder and owner
of Passion Décor Inc., Elizabeth is the driving force behind the
success and growth of this new Barrie venture. Elizabeth has always
been passionate about people and the special events in their lives;
her refined sense of decor, combined with her natural attention to
detail and business background make her uniquely qualified as a
Special Event Coordinator & Decorator. Upon moving to Barrie after
fifteen years in upper-level business administration and civil
litigation in Toronto, Elizabeth decided to turn her part-time hobby
into a full-time occupation: Passion Décor Inc. was born!
Business took-off and included event-planning
for major weddings as well as special galas for some of the city's
largest non-profit organizations. After a busy year in downtown
Barrie focusing on special events decorating, Elizabeth moved the
popular store to its current lakeshore location and added a flower
shop and Floral Design Service to the business. Under her careful
guidance, the growing Passion Décor team now offers a unique
one-stop service in Simcoe County for clients seeking that
just-right "package" for the perfect wedding or special event: Event
planning and decorating, as well as floral design.
With its full-fledged flower shop now open,
Passion Décor now prepares flower arrangements for all environments
and occasions, from weddings to funerals, to arrangements for
reception areas and restaurants. Says Elizabeth: "Walk-in clients
are always welcome; stop in to view our show-room, for a custom
bouquet, or let Passion Décor deliver fresh flowers to that special
someone in your life" !
Annie -
Motivated and full of energy, Annie is an honors graduate from
Humber College; she further advanced her interests in floral design
by traveling to Aalsmeer, Holland where she obtained a coveted
certificate in Advanced Wedding Design. Now, you too can benefit
from the fifteen years of design experience she brings to our team.
Come by our showroom to see samples of her modern and sophisticated
award-winning designs. When not in the store, Annie (also an
occasional teacher at Georgian College) is usually busy being a mom
to her beautiful 3-year-old daughter.
Lori – Lori is one of our special
events “Miracle Workers”. She is one of the super-talented and
energetic individuals on the Passion Décor team who makes it
possible for us to transform plain venues into magnificent,
awe-inspiring banquet halls and gala settings. Lori prides herself
on her keen sense of style and fashion as well as on her ability to
understand and relate with people, even under the stressful moments
that invariably accompany big events.
Lori knows all about helping young and old set
and achieve personal goals; she is a successful certified personal
trainer with her own practice. We are very happy to have her bring
her energy and people skills to the Special Events we specialize in.
Shelby - Shelby is currently completing her OSSD and
spends time with us as part of her co-op program at Barrie Central
Collegiate. She was quick to impress us with her friendliness and
efficiency; her dedication to quality and timely service helps us
ensure that customer's needs with floral projects both big and small
are met. We are very pleased to have Shelby on board as she
continues to enhance her knowledge and experience of a small
business in Barrie.
